What inspired you to become a writer?
I love exploring new ideas and telling people's stories. Almost everyone I interview has something interesting to say that broadens my knowledge.

Gabrielle Hamilton, Anthony Bourdain, David Sedaris.
What’s the worst job/assignment you’ve ever had?
I worked as a sample person at a Kosher grocery store in Brooklyn. It lasted less than a month.
Which is your favorite city in the U.S.?
New Orleans.
What’s your all-time favorite film?
Singin' in the Rain.
